The client’s brief was to modernise their 80s redbrick home, in particular to provide a large entertainment space to the rear of the property, and to introduce a guest room with an ensuite bathroom. The proposal not only meets the homeowner’s aspirations, but adds some areas of delight, such as a fully glazed front entrance allowing natural light to reach the centre of the house and affording views through to the garden as soon as you step through the front door.

The home is warm and welcoming with traditional finishes sitting amongst contemporary features.
